Gregorian celebrates its success with a 10 year Anniversary
new Album and Tour
Numerous fans around the world anxiously await for new signs of life each year ever since the project was established in 1999. In the year of Gregorian's 10 year Anniversary, the fans will certainly not be disappointed! A new release “Master of Chant Chapter VII" ( 25 September 2009 on Edel Records) will be followed by a world tour starting in October with concerts in Russia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Ukraine, Poland and Croatia. Gregorian will visit 24 German cities in November and December to perform their annual (and extremely popular) tour which has become a Christmas tradition for many families in Germany.
In addition, during the event of the Pope’s visit to Israel on May 13th, 2009, Gregorian provided musical selections for the Forgiveness Concert within the walls of the Roman Amphitheatre Beit She’An. This event in Israel was broadcast in 25 countries.
The immensely talented and classically trained choir members of this one-of-a-kind project claim, among their many credits, movie music for “Harry Potter”, “Lord of the Rings”, and “Star Wars” . So far, Gregorian has sold over 4.8 million CD’s and DVD’s. Along with over one million in gate attendance at live concerts, the message has been a clear one from their audiences! Gregorian has captured the hearts of millions of fans during their 10 year career in Europe, South America, Asia, South Africa, Mexico and the USA and the count continues to climb steadily.
The multiple international Chart success and the Gold and Platinum Awards doesn’t faze producer Frank Peterson (e.g.. Sarah Brightman, Ofra Haza, Josè Carreras, Alannah Myles, Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli and Nevio) one bit....in fact, just the opposite is true. The concept to integrate world renowned melodies in a totally different sound in the timeless and enchanting world of the Gregorian Chorals works continiously and appears without limits in its creative adaptations.
The eight classically trained singers and orchestra will once again prove this with their unique vision, glorious harmonies, spectacular light show, flame and laser projections during their 10th Anniversary World Tour.
